This privacy policy explains the kind of information we collect from you and what we do with it.

Parenting 24/7 does not collect personally identifying information (like your email address) unless you choose to register for email notification of monthly updates or newsletters, to rate or comment on articles, or to customize website features for you. All information will only be used by Parenting 24/7 and will not be released to anyone else for any other purpose.

Like all web sites, Parenting 24/7's web server automatically saves information for each visitor who comes to our site. These "access logs" include things like:

  • The Internet Protocol Address (IP Address) of the machine that accessed the web site
  • The date and time of the visit
  • The browser being used
  • A list of files downloaded or viewed, etc.

These log files do NOT include any personal information such as a name, address, phone number, or credit card number. We use this information to to help enhange our site and services (e.g., to learn which pages are visited most or what features are most attractive) and to provide information to our supporters on how the site is being used.

"Cookies" are files that are saved on your computer when you visit a web site. Cookies are typicially used to save information on how you used the site to make subsequent visits more convenient, or to keep track of visitors who return to a site. We use cookies to identify registered users and make signing in to access content or leave comments and ratings easier.
